About Me

Cinema is my passion. To invent worlds. I strive to bring into reality places which we can only dream of. I’ve always understood these spaces as characters. Characters that build a story which needs to be told.

I have been playing around with blueprints since I was fourteen, building models for my father for over eight years. It was through this experience that I gained my architectural knowledge and developed my curiosity. Later, I studied Fine Arts at University (College) then pursue a Masters degree in Theatre Stage Design.

This enabled me to become a Production Designer, which is what I have been doing for the last twenty-two years. I’ve been able to design worlds for feature films and worldwide commercial campaigns for which I have been granted a number of awards all over the globe. Since 2008, I have combined this work with teaching the Masters in Art Direction Communication at the Elisava-Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.

I have my own studio in Barcelona where I practice analogue photography, I shoot my own projects as well as develop and investigate any ideas which I believe are worthy. Somehow, I always have the feeling that I’m still starting on my career.

This place is my world. Basically, this place is me.
